Communicative Tool
Communication tools are multiple ways to message, including direct messaging, private chat, group chat, threaded discussions, open forums, and team- or group-based messaging. Communication tools help to convert, exchange your feelings share your thoughts, and build collaboratively amongst society.
Two types of communicative tools are:
a) Synchronous:
It is real-time communication between the users and the computer. This kind of software allows website providers to interact directly with visitors, as well as other users to exist on their websites. This type of communicative tool helps us solve urgent problems and issues.
Examples: online chats and video conferencing among buyers and sellers for their business.
b) Asynchronous:
it is a communication tool that actually happens between the sender and receiver at any time or in real-time. It includes a computer-based exchange of messages for which the participants need not be available or online at the same time.
Google Classroom
Interactive Google Classroom is not just used as a tool for meetings and development but recently become a popular tool among teachers in some schools in the country. This tool is increasingly popular with teachers when used in conjunction with the internet and it produces an interactive learning community. Instead of having to crowd around one or two computers, interactive Google Classroom not only displays the materials but also responds to human interaction with computer commands and orders on a touch screen.
Here are the Steps to Create a Google Classroom
Go to Google Classroom: Once signed in, go to Google Classroom by visiting classroom.google.com.
Click on the "+" icon: In the top-right corner, you'll see a "+" icon. Click on it.
Choose "Create class": From the drop-down menu, select "Create class."
Fill in the details: You'll be prompted to fill in details about your class, including the class name, section, subject, and room. You can also add a class description.
Click "Create": Once you've filled in the necessary information, click on the "Create" button.
Invite students: After creating the class, you'll be given a unique class code. You can share this code with your students to invite them to join the class. Alternatively, you can manually invite students using their email addresses. (Class code: qgksb7g )
Set up class materials: You can now start adding materials to your class, such as assignments, announcements, and resources. You can create assignments, post announcements, share links, upload files, and more.
Manage your class: Once your class is set up and students join, you can manage various aspects of the class, including grading assignments, communicating with students, and monitoring student progress.
Explore additional features: Google Classroom offers many additional features, such as integration with other Google apps like Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc. Explore these features to enhance your teaching and learning experience.

Steps involved in assigning work
Select the class: If you have multiple classes, choose the class to which you want to assign work.
Click on the "+ Create" button: In the top-left corner, click on the "+ Create" button.
Choose the type of assignment: You'll see a drop-down menu with options like "Assignment," "Quiz assignment," "Question," and "Material." Select the type of assignment you want to create.
Fill in the assignment details: Give your assignment a title and provide any necessary instructions or details in the description box. You can also attach files from your Google Drive or create files directly within Google Classroom using Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc.
Set the due date and time (optional): If you want to set a due date and time for the assignment, you can do so by clicking on the "Due" date and selecting the date and time.
Assign to students: You can choose to assign the work to all students in the class or only to specific students. You can also assign work to multiple classes if you teach more than one class.
Additional options (optional): Google Classroom provides additional options such as:
- Allowing students to edit the attached file: This is useful for collaborative assignments.
- Making the assignment a question: You can turn the assignment into a question if you want students to respond directly within Google Classroom.
- Adding a topic: You can categorize your assignments by adding topics. Topics help organize your classwork.
Preview the assignment (optional): Before assigning the work, you can preview how it will appear to students by clicking on the "Preview" button.
Assign the work: Once you're satisfied with the assignment details, click on the "Assign" button to distribute the assignment to your students.
Review student submissions: After students complete and submit their work, you can review and grade their submissions within Google Classroom.
